Each of us appreciates being a part of a dynamic church body like HAFBC. Whether you visit here for a Sunday or stay for a lifetime expect God to be at work in you personally! We ask the Lord Jesus in prayer constantly to make His presence known to every person who sets foot onto this campus. Expect Him to speak with clarity to your heart, regardless of where you are in your journey with Him. Whatever that place is we hope you’ll take the next step with us and allow us the privilege of walking with you as you walk with Him. Expect God!

Our children’s ministry exists to provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where children are taught about Jesus every time they come to church. We want your child to enjoy coming to church, and learn to love the Bible and Jesus through fun, age-appropriate activities such as Bible stories, crafts, music, snacks, and playtime. Come to one of the children’s welcome desks and you will be checked in and you will be greeted by one of our friendly children’s workers and they will guide you the rest of the way.

Reaching Up to God in worship is not just a slogan it’s a way of life. The presentation of God’s Word is the center of our worship services. What you learn here on Sunday, you can put into practice throughout the week. At HAFBC, we long to be transformed into the likeness of Christ. As we come and worship together, our goal is to be fixed on Jesus...not the style of music we play. Our goal is to sing to Christ...not worry if the song we are singing is a hymn or a chorus. Music is a means to that end...glorifying God!
At Humble Area's First Baptist Church we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people wear business-casual attire. However, don't be surprised if you see a few suits and ties, as well as people wearing jeans. God sees our heart, and that's what He cares about; it's not about the style of clothing we choose.

Humble Area's First Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention which, by the grace of God, is the largest Protestant denomination in the United States. More importantly, we are a part of God's universal church made up of believers in the world. Thus, we affirm the fact that there are other devoted Christians who exist in a large number of other denominations. As Baptists, there are certain distinct practices of the faith which we hold dear. Many of these are the same practices that distinguish us from other denominations. WE BELIEVE: The Bible is the Word of God - In accordance with 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21, the Bible was written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as a supernatural revelation of God. The Scriptures are literally God-breathed and contain no mixture of error. The truth of Scripture and the person of Christ are the foundations of the church and stand in direct opposition to the moral ills of society.
