Eddie Struble, Interim Associate Pastor/Music and Worship, joined the staff of HAFBC in September 2009. As an ordained minister, he has served for the past five years as Minister of Music at a Baptist church in Houston. He also ministered for six years through student music and drama in Tampa, Florida. Eddie has directed large adult choirs, student choirs, orchestras, praise teams, bands, and ensembles as well as drama ministries. Eddie grew up at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, under Dr. Adrian Rogers and Dr. Jim Whitmire, the long-time Minister of Music at Bellevue. In 1996, Eddie graduated from Ouchita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, with a Bachelor of Music, Musical Theatre. During the summer of 1995, he also attended the University of Miami’s Salzburg College program in Austria. Eddie teaches music lessons in voice and piano. In his free time, he enjoys duck hunting, golf, mission trips and traveling. He is married to Anna-Marie, and they have four children: Jamie, Maddie, Emma and Andrew.
